Obituary
Robert D. Brumback, of Mexico, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Audrain Medical Center.

Robert was born May 29, 1926 in Macon, Missouri to Grover Cleveland and Iva (Whitehead) Brumback. On Nov. 1, 1947 in Macon, he married Margie Mae Teter. She survives.

Robert was a machinist at A. P. Green and retired in 1991 after 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, from 1944-1946. He was a member of the American Legion, and loved to travel and fish. Mr. Brumback was a member of Centennial Baptist Church for 50 years.

In addition to his wife, Margie, he is survived by one daughter, Karen Hoer and husband Tom of Mexico; one son Larry Brumback and Melodie White of Jefferson City; one brother Clinton D. Brumback and wife Edna of Flemington, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kristi Hoer and Carl Mongler III of Mexico, Michael Hoer and Shonda Ireland of Columbia, and Capt. Doug Hoer of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Norma Barnes and one nephew, Terry Brumback.
