Obituary
Mary Blanche Shupert, 88 of Mexico, died at 6:10 a.m., July 24, 2009 at Columbia Healthcare.
Mary was born September 14, 1920, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Della Gertrude (Henderson) Young. In 1938 she married Herbert F. Shupert. He died October 4, 1969.
Mary was a member of Centennial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her 3 sons; Larry Shupert and wife Charlene of Springfield, Dan Shupert and wife Diane of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Mike Shupert and wife Brenda of Cape Girardeau; one daughter Diane Richards of Auxvasse; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by one son, James A. Shupert; one grandson, Jake Bell; four sisters, Elsie, Ione, Edna Grace and Hazel.
Memorials may be made to Centennial Baptist Church.
