Anna Joyce Toll
Anna Joyce Toll, 87 of Manhattan, Kan., formerly of Mexico, died at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.
Anna Joyce was born July 6, 1921 in Mexico, the daughter of Ernest Murray and Elizabeth Golden "Goldie" (Umstattd) Acuff. On Oct. 15, 1945 in Jefferson City, she married Harold T. Toll. He died on July 25, 1976.
Mrs. Toll was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mexico.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Toll and wife, Amy, of Manhattan, Kan.; four granddaughters, Kristin Marsh and husband, Jason, of Kansas City, Mo., Rachel Toll , Stephanie Toll and Kelly Toll, all of Manhattan, Kan.; two great-granddaughters, Kylie and Eve Marsh; and several nieces and nephews, Diana Hurt of Mexico, Ronnie Acuff of Stoutsville, Judy Trammell of Jefferson City, Kay Sue Tremaine of Holts Summit, Richard Dale Murphy of Los Angeles, Cal., Donna McGuinnis of Phoenix, Ariz., Steve Acuff of Dickson, Tenn. And Linda Gottschell of Elgin, IL.
In addition to her husband, Anna Joyce was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest “Bud” Acuff, Jimmy Acuff and William Acuff; one sister, Bernice Murphy; one niece, Colleen Acuff ; and one nephew, Douglas Acuff.
