Obituary
Betty Rose Isgrig, 78 of Mexico, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her home.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1931 in Audrain County, the daughter of Thomas O. and Dolly Williams. She married Melburn H. Isgrig on April 22, 1950 in Sturgeon. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1993.
Betty was a homemaker and farm wife and also worked at A.B. Chance for 20 years.
Survivors include two sons; Ed Isgrig and Bobby Isgrig both of Columbia. She is also survived by four grandsons; Raymond Isgrig and Paul Isgrig of Mexico, Mark Isgrig of Auxvasse, Matt Curtis of Ashland, 8 great-grandchildren and five sisters; Ellen, Helen, Opal, Doris, and Bertha.
In addition to her husband Melburn and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Howard Ray Isgrig and two brothers; Arthur and Earl Williams.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
