A History of Contiued Service and Trust
In 1933, Charles Arnold, Jr. opened a funeral parlor in the old Tatlow building on East Jackson Street.
With his eyes to the future, in 1935 Mr. Arnold moved to the new Arnold Funeral Home location at 402 West Monroe, where the business continued to grow due to the outstanding service provided to the families in Mexico, Missouri.
In May of 1952, Arnold Funeral Home moved to the corner of Washington and Clay and was said to be one of Missouri's most modern and complete mortuaries.
In 1968, Mr. Arnold sold the business to Kevin Farnen and Marlin Fisher, who continued to build a strong trust with the Mexico Community. In September of 1976, Arnold Funeral Home moved to it's present location at 425 S. Jefferson.
In 1988, Kevin and Marlin sold the business to Pat Farnen and Dwight Schindler, and in 2005 Todd Yager joined the firm's partnership.
Today, owners Pat Farnen and Todd Yager continue the trusted service, as they and their staff provide traditional services to families throughout Audrain County.
